Dogecoin's Price Breaks Key Downtrend as Analyst Sees Setup for Major Rally
Crypto analyst Cryptollica has identified a setup in the Dogecoin (DOGE) price that may precede a major rally, similar to those seen in 2017 and 2021. The setup is based on the DOGE/BTC ratio, which has returned to a historical support zone.
The DOGE/BTC ratio has been moving inside a descending channel for over a decade, with the lower boundary of that channel being key before previous rallies. In this case, DOGE has already broken above a major downtrend against the US dollar and is holding above key support between $0.083 and $0.0868.
DOGE's price itself has also delivered a bullish signal by breaking out above a descending trendline that had been holding it down since October 2025. The bigger trend still favors bulls, with DOGE holding above the 100-period SMA on both the 4-hour and daily timeframes.
