Doma Protocol Brings Internet Domains to DeFi Through Blockchain Tokenization

Share

Doma Protocol is a blockchain that tokenizes internet domains, allowing them to be traded and used across decentralized finance (DeFi) applications.

Developed by D3, the protocol connects the traditional domain industry with onchain markets, working alongside the existing Domain Name System (DNS).

Doma's smart contracts underwent an independent security assessment by Zellic in June 2025, and the company has raised $30 million to date, including a $25 million Series A led by Paradigm with participation from Coinbase Ventures.

The D3 ecosystem rewards users through the Doma Points campaign and the D3 Frontier Points program, offering multiple ways for participants to position themselves early for potential future benefits, but no token has been announced and the conversion of these points into an airdrop allocation remains speculative.
