dtcpay Secures $25M Series A Funding with SBI Group as Strategic Investor
Singapore-based payment firm dtcpay has secured $25 million in Series A funding, led by Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India. The investment was bolstered by SBI Group as a strategic anchor investor, along with additional participation from Genedant Capital and existing backer Kwee Liong Tek.
The company aims to make cross-border value transfers as frictionless as traditional payments. dtcpay markets its platform around 'stablecoins as seamless and accessible' payments rather than a crypto-only experience.
The dtcpay Visa card reportedly enables spending using both fiat and stablecoins across more than 150 million merchant locations worldwide.
