Dubai Court Gives Brittain Sept 7 Deadline to Reveal TrueUSD Reserve Dispute Funding Sources
A Dubai court has given Matthew William Brittain until Sept. 7 to disclose the sources of $1,083,912.49 used for legal and advisory bills connected to a $456 million dispute over TrueUSD reserves.
The order adds a near-term disclosure deadline to proceedings in the Dubai International Financial Centre Courts.
Brittain must swear and serve an affidavit by 4 p.m. Gulf Standard Time on Sept. 7, listing amounts, payment dates, and bank accounts for money paid to various firms, including Quinn Emanuel, Horizons, Gall, Campbells, and FTI Consulting.
The order also requires an explanation of the source and ultimate beneficial owners behind these payments.
