Dubai Duty Free Joins Crypto Payment Revolution with Shiba Inu Support

Dubai Duty Free has become the latest retailer to accept cryptocurrency payments in its stores. The company, which operates at Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Dubai World Central (DWC), has integrated the Crypto.com Pay payment gateway, enabling customers to use their digital assets to make purchases.

The integration allows customers to pay with SHIB, as well as 29 other cryptocurrencies, including BTC, ETH, XRP, and DOGE. The process is simple: customers pay with cryptocurrency from their balance in the Crypto.com Pay app, which instantly converts the assets at the current exchange rate, and the retailer receives only UAE dirhams (AED).

This move marks another important milestone for the Shiba Inu ecosystem, which has been expanding its presence in the UAE. Just last week, Emirates Airlines introduced cryptocurrency payments through Crypto.com Pay, allowing customers to book flights with digital assets.
