Duelbits, a cryptocurrency exchange, has suffered a significant loss due to unauthorized transfers from its hot wallets. The incident involved around $4.2 million worth of assets across three networks: Ethereum, BNB Chain, and Tron.

The outflows included 836 Ether (ETH), 1.62 million Tether (USDT), 97,000 USD Coin (USDC), 209 BNB, and 192,000 TRX. Most of the assets were later exchanged for ETH.

The suspected cause of the incident is private-key exposure, which led to funds moving into newly created addresses. The transfers involved both major cryptocurrencies and dollar-pegged tokens, making it a complex situation for Duelbits.
