DYORSWAP Compensates Users After Fake Bridge Incident
DYORSWAP, a decentralized exchange, has taken swift action to compensate users affected by a recent bridge incident. On September 27, a fake network and cross-chain bridge were deployed as a Layer 2 network on Ethereum, allowing nearly 1,335 addresses to deposit around 767.65 ETH. The funds were then transferred out of the system, leaving users with losses.
According to an on-chain review by DYORSWAP, more than 200 ETH has already been distributed to affected users. The team is continuing their investigation to trace the deployer and identify the origin of the funds received by other addresses.
