Eightco Reveals $380 Million Treasury Holdings with Strong Exposure to OpenAI

Eightco Holdings Inc., a publicly traded company, disclosed its treasury composition as of September 16, 2026. The total holdings amount to approximately $380 million, with notable assets including $90 million in OpenAI equity (indirectly), nearly 302 million Worldcoin (WLD) tokens, and $120 million in cash and equivalents. Eightco has also repurchased over 26 million shares of its common stock this quarter under its previously announced $125 million share repurchase program.

The company's investment portfolio is heavily concentrated in OpenAI, with a $90 million stake representing approximately 24% of treasury assets. This exposure to the AI leader comes as OpenAI continues to make significant strides in the industry, including acquiring smartphone camera maker Glass Imaging for over $300 million and supporting bipartisan legislation requiring third-party safety assessments.

Eightco's management believes its treasury portfolio is well-positioned to benefit from emerging trends in artificial intelligence, digital identity, and the creator economy. The company has also invested $18 million in Beast Industries equity, which operates one of the largest direct-to-consumer reach footprints in the world.
