Enso Crosschain Routing Revolutionizes DeFi with Streamlined Asset Transfers

Enso has rolled out Crosschain Routing, a feature that streamlines DeFi actions by allowing users to attach them directly to the destination side of a bridge. This means that bridges are no longer just for moving assets between networks.

The system uses Enso's bridge callbacks to detect when assets have been delivered and execute swaps, mints, or vault deposits in sequence. For simple flows, the system automatically selects the best route; for more complex requirements, users can manually designate a bridge using the Bundle API.

Four protocols are already integrated: Chainlink CCIP, Circle CCTP, Relay, and Stargate. These protocols have different capabilities when it comes to tokens, callback size, and finalization models. Users can take advantage of automatic route selection for simple flows or manual bridge designation for more complex requirements.

Enso's Crosschain Routing has several benefits, including reduced fees for the complete flow, which are calculated at the initial request. This gives users visibility over the total cost without needing to fund each step separately.
