XRP Fails to Bounce Despite Positive News as Sentiment Shifts Among Holders
XRP holders are feeling frustrated as positive news fails to move their asset's price. According to CoinMarketCap data, XRP is up 7.67% over the past 30 days, but this seems insignificant compared to other top 10 assets like Solana (up 13.46%) and Ethereum (up 10.40%). Even Bitcoin has gained more than XRP, at 7.33%. This pattern of positive news being ignored is not new for XRP, as seen when Ripple announced Jeonbuk Bank as its third Korean institutional partner in 2026.
Crypto Bitlord, a prominent trader and community figure, expressed his frustration with XRP, saying he was slowly starting to hate the asset. However, after reading a detailed Treasury thesis linking Ripple's stablecoin RLUSD to U.S. Treasury infrastructure, he became 100x more bullish on the digital asset.
Despite the shift in sentiment, XRP still lags behind other top assets in terms of price performance over the past 30 days. The frustration among XRP holders is real, but it remains to be seen if this will have any impact on the asset's future price movements.
