Ethereum Classic's mining pool nodes briefly adopted Core Geth v1.13.0 before reverting back to Argos client.

The disputed release was pushed within 56 hours without outside review, containing 96 commits and adding 13,422 lines of code.

Classix warned that the changes could lead to different consensus clients behaving differently if only Core Geth nodes used MESS.

No blocks were lost, no funds were affected during the incident, but Classix urged operators to avoid v1.13.0 and return to Argos v1.12.23.
