During what was expected to be the most important macro week of the year for crypto markets, Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs displayed unusual behavior. On Monday, spot BTC ETFs gained $160 million, but this momentum reversed on Tuesday after the US Senate voted against the CLARITY Act, with investors pulling out $450.33 million.

The landscape improved slightly on Thursday, with net inflows of just under $160 million. However, it was Friday that turned the tables, with actual net inflows reaching a two-week peak of $433.03 million entering the funds. This had a twofold effect: the ETF week turned green by $6.21 million, and BTC's price soared from $76,000 to over $80,000.

Meanwhile, spot Ethereum ETFs had been enjoying an impressive streak, with cumulative total net inflows increasing from under $10.9 billion to almost $13.4 billion in the past couple of months. However, this streak came to an end during the past week, with $140 million leaving the funds.
