ETH Defies $1,800 Support as Institutional Confidence Rises
Ethereum remains above a crucial support level of $1,800 as institutional investors and traders closely monitor its price action. According to recent data from Bitget, Ethereum (ETH) traded at $1,866.89, marking a 0.08% increase over the previous 24 hours. The trading volume reached $15.72 billion, while the total market capitalization stood at $225.30 billion.
Crypto analyst Crypto Patel noted that Ether's immediate direction remains contingent on whether price action stays above this support zone. A breakdown below $1,800 could put $1,600 in play as the next downside target. On the other hand, if Ethereum holds above this level, analysts see continued upside potential.
Recent data also illustrated a positive turn in institutional sentiment. Spot Ethereum exchange-traded funds (ETFs) logged a net inflow of $9 million, extending the improving trend in fund flows for the sector. This uptick is seen as increasingly significant for Ethereum, as sustained positive flows often indicate rising confidence from larger market players.
