Ether ETF Inflows Extend Streak as Bitcoin Suffers Weekly Outflow
The crypto ETF market saw a mixed performance in the week ended July 31. Ether ETFs continued their inflow streak, attracting $27.42 million for a fourth consecutive week. In contrast, Bitcoin ETFs lost $61.53 million, ending three weeks of gains.
The weekly flow split was largely driven by the Federal Reserve meeting, which kept interest rates steady at 3.50% to 3.75%. Fed Chairman Kevin Warsh noted that market interest rates had risen between meetings as the central bank stepped back from heavy reliance on forward guidance.
Blackrock's IBIT led the weekly winners with $86.9 million in inflows, while Morgan Stanley's MSBT added $7.4 million. However, Fidelity's FBTC lost $85.2 million and Grayscale's GBTC shed $52.6 million.
