Ethereum and Tron Dominate as Tokenized Asset Market Hits $349.2 Billion
The tokenized asset market has surged to a total valuation of $349.2 billion, spread across 50 different blockchains. However, this growth is heavily concentrated, with Ethereum and Tron dominating the landscape. Ethereum alone holds $185.8 billion, or 53.2% of the market, while Tron accounts for $94.2 billion, representing 27%. Solana and BNB Chain lag far behind, with $18.2 billion (5.2%) and $2.6% of the market share, respectively.
Despite the concentration, there are signs of broader adoption. The number of holders has increased to 315.5 million, up 3.3% over the past 30 days and 11.2% over the past 90 days. DeFi activity also shows positive trends, with a total value locked (TVL) of $28.7 billion, representing 8.2% of the total tokenized assets. The TVL has grown by 7.8% over 30 days and 26.7% over 90 days. However, 24-hour DEX volume has decreased by 58.2% over 30 days and 28.4% over 90 days, indicating weaker trading activity.
Smaller blockchains are also attracting fresh capital. Arc, Tempo, and HyperEVM have each added significant amounts of new capital, with Arc leading at $508.3 million over 30 days. This suggests that while Ethereum remains the dominant player, newer networks are gaining traction and contributing to the overall growth of the tokenized asset market.
