The Ethereum Foundation has awarded funding to support the continued development of WEBCAT through its Trillion Dollar Security initiative.

WEBCAT aims to strengthen front-end security across the Ethereum ecosystem by addressing vulnerabilities that can expose users of Ethereum wallets and decentralized applications (dApps) to attacks.

The project focuses on web-based interfaces, helping protect users from phishing attacks, malicious code injections, and other threats that can compromise digital assets.
