Ethereum Holds Ground Ahead of Glamsterdam Upgrade
Ethereum is holding steady near $2,682 as it awaits the upcoming Glamsterdam network upgrade. The price has increased by around 10% over the past month but remains 46% below its all-time high of $4,953.
The technical range for Ethereum has established a clear support at $2,650 and resistance between $2,775 and $2,800. Buyers have repeatedly stepped in to defend the lower boundary of this range.
The Glamsterdam upgrade is set to activate on the Sepolia testnet on October 6, introducing significant changes to block construction, gas pricing, and Layer-1 scaling. The Ethereum Foundation has not yet finalized a mainnet date for the upgrade.
