Ethereum On-Chain Signals Point to Increasing Demand
The Ethereum network is currently experiencing bullish on-chain signals, indicating increasing demand for the asset. One key indicator is that only 3.49% of the total ETH supply remains on exchanges, with trading platforms losing another 1.16% since June 1.
This trend suggests that more and more ETH are being moved off-exchange, possibly into staking or DeFi activity, where about 35% of ETH is currently staked and $53 billion in assets are placed in the Ethereum DeFi ecosystem.
Another sign of increasing demand is a sharp increase in priority fees, which rose by 26.74% to around $464,000 in just one day. This indicates that users are willing to pay more for faster transaction processing, pointing to increased competition for the network's limited throughput.
