Ethereum's $10,000 Price Target: Can Gemini AI's Projection Become Reality?
Google's Gemini AI predicts Ethereum (ETH) could surge to $10,000 or more by the end of Q4, but the technical analysis doesn't entirely back up this optimistic view. The AI's projection comes as Ethereum ETF flows have posted four consecutive outflows, totaling over $135 million since September 29. Ethereum reached an all-time high of $4,953.73 in August 2025 and is currently trading about -52% below that peak.
Exchange reserves have fallen to about 14.6 million ETH, the lowest level since 2016, and around 35% of all ETH is currently locked in staking. Both factors indicate a tightening supply as the price approaches $3,000. The AI projects a bull-case price target for Ethereum of $6,500 to $8,500 by January 1, 2027, with a stretch target of $10,000 to $12,000 in highly favorable market conditions.
To achieve this, a strongly positive environment would be required, marked by sustained interest rate cuts, rising institutional ETH holdings, heightened DeFi and staking activity, and renewed engagement from retail investors. Ethereum is currently finishing the week strong, surging above $2,700 with a +1% overnight gain, but it's crucial to monitor the all-time high of $4,953 and the psychological level of $4,000 as key checkpoints.
