Ethereum's Glamsterdam Activations Still on Track, But Bugs Must Be Fixed First

The Ethereum team is still working towards activating Glamsterdam on the Sepolia testnet by October 6 at 13:53 UTC, but several bugs need to be fixed first.

Glamsterdam-Devnet-9, which was launched on September 1 with 1,000 validator nodes, failed to finalize properly, and a bug related to EIP-8037 is causing execution layer clients to modify their code.

A new devnet, Devnet-11, has become the test to watch, and if it succeeds, October 6 will remain within reach. However, if it encounters significant problems, teams may have to reassess the date 'on a case-by-case basis.'
