Etherfi and MoonPay team up to streamline crypto payments infrastructure
Ether.fi has formed a strategic partnership with MoonPay to streamline its payments infrastructure, consolidating services like fiat funding, crypto conversions, virtual accounts, and deposits into a single platform. The collaboration will introduce four key products: Headless Ramps for seamless fiat onramps and offramps, MoonPay Trade for cross-chain trading, Enterprise Virtual Accounts for global payment support, and Crypto Deposits for external asset transfers. These features aim to reduce the need for multiple providers and simplify user verification processes.
The integration preserves ether.fi’s self-custodial model, allowing users to retain control of their wallet keys while MoonPay handles compliance and fiat payment processing. Ether.fi reported significant growth, with its card processing $123.7 million in September 2026, up from $24.1 million in September 2025, showcasing its expansion beyond liquid staking into broader financial services. Since its April 2025 launch, the card has facilitated $918 million in cumulative spending.
Rok Kopp, co-founder and Chief Growth Officer of ether.fi, emphasized that the company’s benchmark is traditional banking apps, not other crypto products. Ivan Soto-Wright, CEO of MoonPay, highlighted that the success of such platforms hinges on simplifying money movement. The partnership is expected to roll out over the coming months, enhancing the user experience across ether.fi’s ecosystem.
