EVM-Based Infrastructure Finds Ways to Connect with Solana

Ethereum and Solana have traditionally operated in different technical architectures, but developers are finding ways to connect them through specialized infrastructure.

The connection allows EVM-based applications to interact with parts of the Solana ecosystem, giving developers another way to reach Solana users without abandoning their existing tools and programming environment.

One such project is Neon EVM, which provides an EVM-compatible environment within the Solana ecosystem. This allows developers who already know Solidity and the EVM to deploy Ethereum-compatible smart contracts while gaining access to Solana's underlying infrastructure.
