Fairshake to Spend $30M Opposing Sherrod Brown in Ohio Senate Race

Crypto super PAC Fairshake plans to spend $30 million opposing former Sen. Sherrod Brown's (D) bid for Ohio Senate seat, according to a recent confirmation with The Hill.

Brown, who spent nearly two decades representing Ohio before being ousted in 2024, faces incumbent Sen. Jon Husted (R) in a tight midterm race that could determine the upper chamber's partisan control.

Fairshake has a significant finance account at its disposal with six weeks left until the midterms, having reported $108 million on hand at the end of August.
