FCA Refines Crypto Regulations with Revised A&D Framework
CryptoUK has announced revisions to the Financial Conduct Authority's (FCA) Admissions and Disclosures framework, which governs cryptoasset regulations in the UK.
The changes aim to refine compliance requirements as the country strengthens its crypto regulatory landscape. The FCA largely retained the proposed A&D framework but introduced targeted changes following a consultation process.
Clarifications have been made to admission criteria and due diligence and disclosure requirements for crypto assets before they can be admitted to trading, ensuring better proportionality and clarity.
CryptoUK acts as the collective voice of the UK's crypto and digital asset sector, engaging with policymakers and regulators.
