The Federal Reserve kept interest rates unchanged at 3.5% to 3.75%, citing solid economic growth, strong productivity gains, and a resilient labor market despite elevated uncertainty linked to the conflict in the Middle East.

Under Chair Kevin Warsh's leadership, the central bank has emphasized focusing on current economic conditions rather than offering detailed guidance about future policy.

The Fed has formed five task forces to examine its communications strategy, balance sheet, economic data, productivity and labor markets, and inflation framework. The panels will include outside experts and are expected to recommend reforms before the end of the year.
