Forward Industries Boosts Solana Holdings to 8.5M Tokens
Forward Industries, a company known for its Solana holdings, increased its SOL and SOL-equivalent holdings by 948,601 tokens in fiscal Q4, bringing its total to 8.501 million as of September 30, 2026. This represents a 13% quarterly increase, with the newly added tokens carrying an average cost of $83. Forward's holdings rose from 7.553 million at the end of June to 8.501 million at the end of September, with its position in Solana now representing roughly 1.4% of the circulating supply.
The company valued its SOL treasury at $1.004 billion using a September 30 price reference of $118.06 per SOL. Forward's SOL per fully diluted share rose 10.4% quarter-over-quarter to 0.0806. The company's Chief Investment Officer, Ryan Navi, described the period as a 'standout quarter' and pointed to the record SOL additions.
Forward's Solana exposure extends beyond its treasury tokens. The company invested in OnRe, a tokenized reinsurance platform, and committed to purchasing up to $25 million of ONyc. Forward also reported that the market capitalization of ONyc increased from $203.4 million at the end of June to $286.2 million at September 30.
