Franklin Templeton Joins Ondo Finance in Blockchain Investment Push

Ondo Finance has partnered with Franklin Templeton to bring traditional investment products onto the blockchain. The partnership aims to give crypto users direct exposure to conventional financial markets.

The effort is built around Ondo Global Markets, a platform that issues tokens backed by publicly traded stocks and exchange-traded funds. Each token tracks the value of an underlying security, allowing users to hold them in digital wallets without opening a brokerage account or converting currencies.

Franklin Templeton manages approximately $1.7 trillion in assets, making it one of the largest asset managers in the world. Under the partnership, the firm will supply investment products and support distribution through the Ondo platform.
