Galkin Scores Big at Ukrainian Wedding in Rome

Russian comedian and TV presenter Maxim Galkin recently earned about €150 thousand (approximately 14.4 million rubles) hosting a wedding in Rome for a Ukrainian crypto trader.

The event took place on September 23 at Villa Miani, with the rental price costing €30 thousand. Decorations, catering, music, and photos added an additional €120 thousand to the total bill.

Galkin performed as the host of the wedding, singing Russian-language songs by Svetlana Loboda and Quest Pistols Show, as well as a Ukrainian hit by Stepan Gigi. He also gave a speech about the future of Donbass in Russian.

This is not the first time Galkin has performed at an event for a Ukrainian client; he held a wedding on Lake Como (Italy) this summer and regularly takes on the role of toastmaster at other solemn events, including weddings.
