Garlinghouse Unveils 5-Year Crypto Strategy Focusing on Top Five Assets

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse has proposed a five-year cryptocurrency strategy that focuses on buying and holding the top five largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalization. This approach could potentially yield 'great results' for investors, according to Garlinghouse.

The basket of assets includes Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether (USDT), BNB, and XRP, which are currently ranked as the top five cryptocurrencies by market cap. Garlinghouse acknowledged that he owns a small amount of Solana, but stated that it's not a direct competitor to XRP.

Garlinghouse emphasized the importance of liquidity in determining a currency's value over time, stating that trust, usability, and transaction speed are key factors driving demand for XRP. He noted that the most liquid currencies tend to be the most valuable.
