Gen Z Investors Favor Long-Term Holdings Over Short-Term Trades
New research from Binance reveals that Gen Z investors are net buyers, with 76% of their bStocks accounts accumulating more assets than they sell. This is the highest share among all generations studied.
Gen Z users on bStocks average only three trades per month, making them the least active trading cohort. In direct equities, a significant 22% of Gen Z accounts have never placed a sell order, indicating a strong preference for holding assets.
The data also shows that 88.2% of Gen Z TradFi-Perps accounts and 98.9% of bStocks accounts recorded no leveraged or inverse ETF activity, the lowest rates among working-age groups.
