Global Crypto Millionaires Surpass 135k Amid Slightly Milder Downturn
Henley & Partners' Crypto Wealth Report 2026 reveals that there are now 135,694 individuals worldwide who own at least $1 million in digital assets. Bitcoin remains the dominant cryptocurrency among high-net-worth individuals, with 92,272 people classified as bitcoin millionaires.
The report notes that while bitcoin prices have fallen 38% below their October 2025 all-time high, this decline has been less severe than previous crypto market downturns, which saw price losses exceeding 75% each time.
Global crypto ownership continues to expand, with approximately 742 million people now holding some form of digital asset. The Henley Crypto Adoption Index ranks countries on regulatory environment and adoption rates, with Singapore remaining at the top spot for the fourth consecutive year.
