Goldman Sachs has made a significant move into cryptocurrency by partnering with Lynq, an institutional settlement platform built on Avalanche. The financial giant is bringing its $100 billion FTIXX Treasury fund to Lynq, providing over 30 digital-asset firms using the platform access to earn yield on cash between trades.

The fund will not be tokenized, but rather offered as a new distribution channel through Lynq's private Avalanche infrastructure. This move strengthens Avalanche's institutional adoption narrative and gives it a major boost in the market.

The AVAX price surged by over 11% following the announcement, climbing from an intraday low of $10.16 to $11.74 before settling at $11.72. The token has seen a significant run in the past month, with its value increasing by 60% due to impressive fundamentals and technicals.
