Grayscale's XRP Trust Suffers $180 Million Token Sell-Off Amid Price Decline

Grayscale's XRP Trust ETF has seen significant outflows in the first half of 2026, selling $180.78 million worth of XRP tokens and contracting its holdings by more than 50%.

The trust recorded a realized loss of $34.16 million on XRP sold for redemptions, with an additional $17.47 million in unrealized losses on the remaining position.

Net assets fell from $223.36 million in December to just $57.41 million by June 30, highlighting the impact of falling prices and redemptions on the trust's value.
