Grok Predicts Chainlink Price to Surge 55% by 2026
Chainlink's recent connection to the global banking network Swift has been a major talking point in the crypto space. According to a prediction by Grok, Chainlink's price could reach $16.40 by December 31, 2026. This forecast is influenced by Chainlink's new CCIP 2.0 upgrade and its connection to Swift, which has a major impact on the global banking system.
Chainlink announced that its Runtime Environment allows banks to connect to SWIFT's blockchain ledger, a shared record system used by various banks. The banks maintain their own keys, ensuring they do not relinquish control of their funds to either Chainlink or SWIFT. Currently, 17 financial institutions are testing tokenized deposits, which represent standard bank deposits as digital tokens.
Grok notes that the Swift connection has not significantly altered its 2026 prediction for Chainlink. The initial spike in LINK's price after the announcement has faded, and with LINK still down 36% from the previous year, one could argue it's still behaving like a recovery coin closely tied to Bitcoin's movements.
