HashKey Exchange Secures JPMorgan Approval for Client Money Account
HashKey Exchange has secured approval from JPMorgan to open a client money account, marking a significant milestone for Hong Kong's regulated crypto market. This approval gives HashKey Exchange access to a client money account at one of the world's largest banking institutions.
The company, which operates under Hong Kong's licensed digital asset framework, has positioned itself as a regulated entry point for retail and institutional investors seeking compliant crypto trading services. With this approval, HashKey Exchange can now support its regulated trading operations and client fund management with a client money account at JPMorgan.
HashKey Exchange recently merged its Exchange and Global platforms into one app, covering several regulated digital asset market hubs in Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai, and Bermuda. The unified app follows 'unified entry, localized compliance' rules, allowing users to manage compliant accounts across supported regions based on their KYC and KYB credentials.
HashKey's Hong Kong hub supports spot trading, OTC services, and four fiat currencies, with around 40 digital assets available for trading. The platform also offers a Web3 wallet service portal that provides a compliant gateway to explore on-chain services while keeping exchange functions distinct.
