Hong Kong's OSL Launches Retail XRP Trading Amid Growing Demand
OSL Digital Securities has launched XRP trading for retail investors in Hong Kong, marking a significant milestone for the city's crypto market.
The platform, which operates under the license of the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), now offers direct spot access to XRP through its Flash Trade service. Retail users can also trade XRP/USD and XRP/HKD through OTC trading.
XRP joins Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana as the four digital assets available to retail clients on OSL. The launch follows XRP's listing for professional investors in December 2025, which supported XRP/HKD, XRP/USD, and XRP/USDT through Flash Trade.
The rollout of XRP trading for retail investors is part of Hong Kong's efforts to expand its regulated crypto market. OSL Digital Securities holds Type 1 and Type 7 licenses from the SFC and is registered under Hong Kong's Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Ordinance.
The company's custody setup carries $1 billion in insurance coverage for client assets, providing an added layer of security for investors. The launch also adds another regulated entry point for XRP in Asia as institutional firms build blockchain-based financial infrastructure across the region.
