Hoskinson Calls for Crypto Adoption as RealFi Launch Nears
Cardano (ADA) founder Charles Hoskinson has called for the crypto industry to move past legislative efforts and focus on adoption. Speaking in a September 15 recording, Hoskinson emphasized that legislation should not be seen as a panacea for every problem.
Hoskinson noted that the collapse of the US crypto market structure bill marked the end of market structure legislation efforts in the Senate for 2026. He also stated that Cardano is among the assets he considers commodities, alongside Bitcoin and XRP.
The comments come as RealFi prepares to launch on the Cardano mainnet. The project has been purchasing reserve assets and its stablecoin mint has entered the seven-figure range. If successful, this could provide another catalyst for ADA price growth.
