Hoskinson Reaffirms Commitment to Cardano Despite Massive Losses
Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has reiterated his commitment to the ecosystem, stating that he remains one of the largest holders of ADA. During a recent AMA session, Hoskinson highlighted the size of his ADA holdings and emphasized his long-term investment in the project.
In response to questions from the community, Hoskinson revealed that he had incurred over $3 billion in losses as ADA declined sharply from its all-time high of $3.10 during the 2021 bull market. Despite this substantial decline, Hoskinson continues to identify himself as one of the largest ADA holders.
Additionally, Hoskinson addressed another issue involving Cardano's global community, highlighting the size of the staking community. With around 1.4 million people staking ADA globally, he questioned why these participants do not have a more unified communication platform.
Hoskinson has previously proposed moving core community and governance discussions away from X and into a dedicated Discord server, citing the need for stronger moderation to limit hostility, misinformation, and disruptive behavior.
