Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano, has called for greater engineering collaboration between his blockchain and Ethereum. Speaking in an interview, he argued that both ecosystems could benefit from sharing technological innovations.

Hoskinson suggested that Ethereum developers explore Cardano's novel smart-contract capabilities, particularly its UTXO-based design, to gain access to new features while strengthening interoperability between the two ecosystems.

He believes Cardano could also benefit if Ethereum adopted some of its technology, making it easier for developers to work across Cardano-related projects. Hoskinson described this potential cooperation as a straightforward academic and engineering collaboration rather than a financially driven partnership.
