$HYPE Sees Massive RWA Adoption, Fueling Price Surge

Hyperliquid's Real World Assets (RWA) have experienced significant growth in the first half of 2026, attracting 169,000 wallets and accounting for 31.7% of new users. This makes RWAs a major entry point for new users into Hyperliquid ($HYPE).

Of these, about 137,000 wallets stayed concentrated on RWA markets rather than diversifying into assets like Bitcoin (BTC) or Ethereum (ETH), with a staggering 80.9% of RWA-driven users keeping trading RWAs without switching to cryptocurrencies.

RWAs might not just be a gateway to the larger cryptocurrency space but rather a stand-alone destination within blockchain finance, as their adoption is not necessarily tied to the performance of major cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin or Ethereum.

The performance of Hyperliquid ($HYPE) has been closely linked to its RWA-related activity, with the token trading at $57.39 following a 22.52% increase over the previous year.
