Hyperliquid and Zcash Emerge as Contenders to Crypto's 'Mount Rushmore'

Bitwise Chief Investment Officer Matt Hougan said that Hyperliquid and Zcash are increasingly challenging Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and Chainlink as crypto's 'Mount Rushmore.'

Hougan mentioned that his original lineup of top cryptocurrencies remains unchanged, but he acknowledged the growing presence of Hyperliquid and Zcash.

He noted that Hyperliquid is combining existing features such as perpetual futures and centralized order books with a strong user experience, making its case to be included in the group.

Zcash, on the other hand, is challenging the established lineup by arguing for the importance of privacy in crypto, Hougan said.
