Hyperscale Data's Combined Holdings Surpass Market Cap by 153%
Hyperscale Data, an artificial intelligence data center company anchored by Bitcoin, has revealed its significant Bitcoin and cash holdings. The company held 219.0652 Bitcoin worth approximately $18.5 million and roughly $37.5 million in cash and restricted cash as of September 27.
This combined position of about $56 million represents a staggering 153% of the market capitalization of Hyperscale Data's common stock as of September 28, according to its latest announcement.
Milton 'Todd' Ault III, the company's executive chairman, framed this significant holding as proof that the firm can continue executing while bringing its flagship data center online. He stated, 'We strongly believe that the $56 million of Bitcoin, cash and restricted cash puts the Company in a strong financial position to continue delivering on our commitments to our customer and bringing the initial phase online.'
Hyperscale Data has made a strategic pivot away from Bitcoin mining, stopping operations at its Michigan site and instead entering a long-term master services agreement for deploying AI infrastructure at the same facility through its Alliance Cloud Services subsidiary.
