A multi-state cryptocurrency scam has been uncovered in India after police arrested three men and discovered over 500 mule accounts.

The investigation began with a complaint from Harish Kumar K.N., who claimed he was scammed out of ₹93.58 lakh through an online investment scheme.

Police allege the scammers used WhatsApp to lure victims into investing in fake schemes and created fake groups to convince them to transfer money.
