Infinex Integrates NEAR Chain Signatures for Wider Cross-Chain Access
In a move to expand its cross-chain capabilities, Infinex has integrated NEAR Chain Signatures and NEAR Intents. This integration allows users to access assets like Bitcoin, Dogecoin, and XRP without needing to manually manage separate bridges and wallets.
The integration gives Infinex access to NEAR's chain-abstraction infrastructure, which enables applications to interact with assets across multiple blockchains from a single interface. NEAR's Chain Signatures use a multi-party computation network secured by NEAR validators to authorize transactions on external chains.
This means users can access assets that don't natively live on the same chain while keeping the underlying execution largely hidden from the user. NEAR Intents currently connects 31 chains and more than 100 assets, with cross-chain settlement typically taking around 30 seconds.
NEAR's bridging documentation lists examples such as BTC to TON, XRP to Arbitrum, and DOGE to Base, showing how assets from non-EVM networks can be brought into other ecosystems through one routing layer.
