Injective Price Soars 45%, Institutional Momentum Builds Towards $8 Target
Injective's price has made a significant jump of nearly 45% in the past week, rising from around $4 to over $6. This surge in buying momentum has pushed the token above a key descending trendline and brought a major resistance zone back into focus.
The Injective Institutional Services entity became an SEC-registered transfer agent on August 19, giving it a regulated framework for maintaining securities ownership records and processing related transfers. This development adds an important institutional layer to Injective's broader tokenization strategy.
Injective's deflationary mechanisms have also been gaining traction, with over 7 million INJ tokens eliminated through its Community BuyBack mechanism. A further buyback of more than $168,000 has been reported for this week, although the figure has not been independently confirmed by Injective.
The current price analysis suggests that a sustained daily close above $6 could confirm the breakout and expose $6.50, followed by the $7-$7.20 area. A successful move through these levels would bring the larger $7.50-$8 resistance zone into focus.
