Bitcoin's price fell below $83,000 on Monday as uncertainty over potential U.S. strikes on Iran weighed heavily on crypto and stock-market futures.

The decline pushed BTC/USD below $82,700 for the first time since September 21, after closing the previous week near $84,450.

A failed attempt to revisit highs above $87,000 reached last week limited buying momentum as traders watched the order books, with over $30 million in sell-side liquidity appearing around $85,700.
