Jito Foundation Shifts Focus to Broader Distribution of JitoSOL

Jito Foundation is shifting its focus from maximizing total value locked (TVL) to making JitoSOL, Solana's largest standalone liquid staking token, more accessible across various platforms.

The strategy involves distributing JitoSOL across major DeFi protocols, centralized exchanges, institutional products, and governance infrastructure.

Coinbase has already integrated JitoSOL into its SOL-backed borrowing product on Morpho, accumulating nearly 200,000 SOL in TVL. Other notable integrations include Kamino, Solend, and Raydium.

JitoSOL's dual reward structure sets it apart from vanilla liquid staking tokens, providing holders with standard staking rewards plus transaction-ordering value tips through TipRouter. Validators using Jito's infrastructure capture extra revenue, which flows back to JitoSOL holders.
