John Stays Bullish on Solana, But Won't Rush to Buy More
A Milk Road PRO member questioned John's bullish stance on Solana (SOL), saying he doesn't think John is bullish enough. In response, John confirmed that he is very bullish on SOL but is not in a rush to buy more.
John believes that Solana is halfway through a pivot and has been chasing institutional money and real-world assets. He points out that U.S. spot SOL ETFs have pulled in a record $188 million in a single week, validators have voted to make new SOL issuance fall twice as fast, and wallets holding tokenized stocks on Solana have reached a record 900K.
Despite these positive developments, John remains cautious about buying more SOL, citing the fact that its price has been lagging its fundamentals. He also notes that network fees shrank hard when memecoin mania cooled off, and that upgrades he is excited about are not yet live.
John's approach to SOL is characterized as 'bullish but chill,' and he attributes his patience to the Milk Road Macro Index, which is still in RISK OFF. He has been early on SOL before, buying it at ~$10 in the last bear market, and has a bag of SOL that he wants to grow.
