Jupiter Surges 5.92% Amid Solana DEX Milestone
Jupiter (JUP) has surged by 5.92% in the last 29 hours, continuing its upward trend that began when the protocol's fee potential improved with tokenized stocks and perpetuals expansion.
The recent growth is largely driven by a catalyst-driven uptrend, rather than an isolated event, as several Jupiter-specific product developments have been priced into the market. These include the launch of new perpetuals markets in beta, including crypto names and tokenized equities, which have increased the protocol's revenue potential.
Solana DEX activity has also reached a milestone where it briefly surpassed the New York Stock Exchange in weekly trade count, with Jupiter being the main router for a large share of these trades. The platform has processed over 80 million trades and is growing month-over-month, further supporting its fee potential.
A well-followed KOL (Ansem) has publicly called Solana DeFi 'one of the most undervalued trades this cycle', pointing to low fees, fast execution, and persistent growth in onchain activity as reasons for its mispricing. This endorsement has contributed to a strong background bid for JUP.
