Jupiter's Pump Token Purchase Sends Asset Price Soaring
Jupiter's purchase of 1.6 billion Pump tokens worth $5 million boosted demand for the asset, which was also supported by protocol-funded buybacks.
The wallet, which held around 0.242% of PUMP's total supply and was the 35th largest holder, accumulated the tokens consistently before the price increase.
The revenue growth from Pump.fun's platform added another fundamental layer to the price expansion, with a 24-hour revenue of $1.16 million and a seven-day revenue growth of 15% faster than its 30-day growth.
The protocol spent 50% of its net revenue purchasing and burning PUMP tokens, resulting in over $430 million worth of buybacks and more than 16% of the total supply being burned.
